We are honored that you chose to pursue graduate studies with us. We are excited to work with you to advance greater equity, sustainability, and justice in communities throughout the world.<\/p>\n

You are joining us at a time when intersecting systemic crises are affecting our globe, such as climate change, ecological devastation, systemic racism, income inequality, COVID-19, and forced migration. The need for purpose-driven, systemic-challenge ready, and diverse & inter-culturally competent leaders and practitioners has never been greater. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you to become one of these change-makers.<\/p>\n

Community is at the forefront of the department. We encourage you to get involved in the department’s Graduate Student Association<\/a> to have a voice in matters affecting students\u2019 success and well being. Fellow students plan frequent social events and community-building activities.<\/p>\n

And, of course, we hope you will get to know and love the city of Worcester. There are many ways to get involved in community-change efforts as well as opportunities to have fun and enjoy cultural and recreational resources of the city.<\/p>\n
