In this two-year project, ASDC will provide residential and non-residential certificate training in entrepreneurship, ICT, graphic design and freelancing, and hospitality management. [Note: GESP is a global partnership between UNICEF, FCDO\/UK Government, Unilever, Pearson, PwC, Microsoft, Accenture, Standard Chartered, United Bank for Africa, Coursera, Vodafone, BP, and Cognizant.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researching various aspects of this project, including gender empowerment, community development, socio-economic development, and skills development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and conducting M&amp;E of the various training programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting curriculum and training program design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing visual impact stories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing grant proposals for sustainability and scaling of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and knowledge needed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grant writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research and\/or M&amp;E<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical and vocational training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>AYAT College of Nursing and Health Sciences (ACNHS) and AYAT Care Training Institute (ACTI)<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACNHS is a government-registered nursing college affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Simmons University, offering bachelor\u2019s- and diploma-degree programs in nursing and midwifery. ACTI provides six-month residential caregiver and lab technician training and is affiliated with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and National Skills Development Authority under the Prime Minister\u2019s Office. These two institutions provide high-quality education to increase the number of skilled health care professionals in Bangladesh, reduce the disease burden, and enhance quality of life. Both nurses and caregivers are also involved with community service projects, including conducting health camps for garment workers inside the factories and for the elderly in recreational facilities such as parks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researching various aspects of the nursing college and caregiver training institute, including gender empowerment, health and wellness, community development, socio-economic development, nursing education, and caregiving for the growing aging population<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and conducting M&amp;E of the degree programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing visual impact stories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIS mapping of community services for informed decision-making<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing grant proposals for sustainability and scaling of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and knowledge needed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grant writing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research and\/or M&amp;E<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nurse and caregiver training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Supportive Palliative Care at AYAT Education<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBuilding an Integrated Age-attuned Model of Supportive Palliative Care in Bangladesh\u201d is a project of AYAT Education in collaboration with the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), St. Christopher\u2019s Home, and the Narayanganj City Corporation. This project aims to integrate palliative care into the public health system by upskilling youth volunteers, health workers, nurses, and physicians working at the subdistrict level and in rural communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researching palliative care, community development, health awareness campaigns, and policy advocacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and conducting M&amp;E of the project activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing visual impact stories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing grant proposals for sustainability and scaling of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and knowledge needed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research and\/or M&amp;E<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender empowerment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public health and palliative care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grant writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Enhancing Health and Wellness with AYAT Education<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AYAT Education is partnering with Integral Global Health USA and the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), supported by The JCM Foundation, to implement a three-year project to enhance the health and wellness of 30,000 garment workers in five RMG factories in Bangladesh. The purpose of this project is to strengthen wellness and productivity among garment workers while mitigating the spread of respiratory illness and communicable diseases (e.g., seasonal flu, COVID-19). The field officers are conducting different campaigns and training programs to raise awareness among the workers, and nurses and doctors from AYAT College of Nursing and Health Sciences are conducting regular health camps to check health conditions, provide primary treatment, and refer patients with severe illnesses to nearby hospitals for secondary and tertiary care. AYAT Education is also developing a digital toolkit containing information on health, wellness, and protective services for BGMEA and readymade garment employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researching public health, health economics, community development, technology and development, and development communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and conducting M&amp;E of the project activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing visual impact stories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing grant proposals for sustainability and scaling of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and knowledge needed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research and\/or M&amp;E<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gender empowerment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ICT for development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grant writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Amader Gram Cancer Care &amp; Research Center<\/summary>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under a sustainable and accountable financial program that ensures access for all, AYAT Education\u2019s partner organization Amader Gram develops innovative, transformative, and trustworthy community-oriented health care services addressing cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCD) for the coastal area population in the southern part of Bangladesh. Their program addresses climate change-affected community health challenges, especially those affecting women and children, by creating an integrated and linked network of community health workers, virtual care services, and ambulatory care facilities and services with two information technology tools: an electronic medical record and wireless broadband access. For the last 15 years, their Breast Care Center in the Khulna District has provided affordable and high-quality services to diagnose breast problems, plan treatment, and provide hormonal and chemotherapies, along with palliative home care for more than 25,000 women. Their collaborators include the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in Bangladesh, the Mayo Clinic, Marquette University, the University of Florida, and Microsoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scope of work<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researching environmental health, climate change and human health, water and health, economic and societal impacts of climate change, public health, community development, gender empowerment, and ICT for development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and conducting M&amp;E of the project activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing visual impact
