{"id":450,"date":"2025-07-17T16:23:50","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T20:23:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/studyabroad\/?page_id=450"},"modified":"2025-07-17T16:39:21","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T20:39:21","slug":"confirmation-of-participation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/study-abroad\/apply\/confirmation-of-participation\/","title":{"rendered":"Confirmation forms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns sidebar is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:45rem\">\n<p>Print, read, sign, and submit the confirmation forms that were attached to your approval email to study abroad at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:studyabroad@clarku.edu\">studyabroad@clarku.edu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">These forms indicate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your intent to study abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your commitment to paying Clark and your program fees by the published deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will monitor your Clark email, as all official Clark correspondence will be sent to this email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will maintain domestic and international health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to withdraw, you must inform the office of study abroad in writing and may be held liable for any fees already paid to the program on your behalf, according to the programs cancellation policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The university abroad or program provider reviews applications and requires participation confirmation independently. You\u2019ll receive admission notification in a separate email. It\u2019s your responsibility to respond to the notification in a timely, complete, and accurate manner as soon as possible. Don\u2019t wait for deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Housing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of your confirmation forms may include a housing questionnaire.&nbsp; Contact your program to find out if you need to fill out a housing selection form, and whether your program requires a homestay or roommate selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clark Housing (for on-campus housing)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have confirmed your study abroad program participation, Residence Life &amp; Housing offers the following guidelines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please reference the Housing Contract (located in the applications and on the RLH&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/housing\/housing-selection-lottery\/\">website<\/a>) to ensure you understand the timeline and associated fees if you don\u2019t follow instructions. They are happy to answer any of your questions about housing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit a housing application and choose the \u201cLive Off Campus\u201d option<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the semester you are away, RLH will be sending emails letting you know about the Housing Application for the semester of return.
