SOM Continues Partnership with CAIA Association
The Clark University School of Management (SOM) has continued its academic partnership with the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association. The CAIA Association is a credentialing body that seeks to educate investors and industry stakeholders on the most current knowledge and best practices in alternative investments, by partnering with academic institutions around the world.
Clark University has been an academic partner with CAIA since 2010. Its continuation signals that SOM’s finance and accounting curriculum is tied to relevant, practical industry developments and advocates for the highest ethical standards. Through participation, Clark University students will be well positioned to obtain additional finance industry credentialing through CAIA exams.
In an important benefit to students, scholarships will be available to offset costs of the CAIA credential exams, and both students and faculty will be invited to members-only networking opportunities through CAIA events, as well as webinars and other programs with industry experts. SOM students enrolled in programs other than the master’s in finance or accounting degrees can also take advantage of CAIA webinars and programs in order to gain a fundamental understanding of investments.
“We’re excited by our continued, growing partnership with the CAIA Association,” said Alan Eisner, dean of the School of Management. “This is another great example of how opportunities for career and professional development for our students and faculty continue to expand.”
