Officers shall utilize the device in accordance with the provisions of the BWC policy. The use of BWCs by officers is to determine their effectiveness in enhancing policing transparency on-campus and increasing public trust and police-community relations. BWCs are an effective tool to preserve factual representations of officer-civilian interactions.
