Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria: Extending Care and Concern

To Members of the Clark Community:

We write to share our absolute heartbreak over the devastating earthquakes that have struck Turkey and Syria, and concern and support for the Clark University students, faculty, and staff who are from and have loved ones in the areas impacted by this incomprehensible disaster. We share in your pain.

Through the Office of the Provost, Division of Student Success, and the International Center, we have been reaching out to our community members to offer assistance. If you, a colleague, or fellow student have been impacted and are in need of help, we urge you to let us know. Your fellow Clarkies are here for you.

For anyone who would like to contribute to response and recovery efforts, there are many channels for doing so. The following are some of the international organizations that are actively involved:

Syrian American Medical Society

UNICEF

Doctors Without Borders

Global Giving

International Federation of the Red Cross

CARE

Our hearts are with everyone who has been affected by this terrible tragedy.

Sincerely,
