New Gift Supports Little Center Renovation

Dear Members of the Clark Community,

I am delighted to announce a $2 million gift from Clark University Trustee Vickie Riccardo and her husband Donald Spencer that will help transform the 54-year-old Little Center into a modern performance and theater arts teaching space. Ms. Riccardo and Mr. Spencer are the parents of Alyssa Spencer ’17, who was very active in the arts during her time at Clark. Their gift will support the creation of a new lobby and reception area featuring operable glass walls for indoor/outdoor events, making it a dramatic new space for community gathering. The lobby will also act as a gallery space for display of student and faculty work.

I am very grateful to Vickie and Don for their ongoing, generous support of Clark and for their call to others to help support Clark in the essential work of updating our campus facilities. Construction on Little Center began a few months ago and is expected to be complete in Summer 2022.

Sincerely,
