Public-Facing Clark Website

The University Marketing Web Team, located in University Marketing and Communications, is responsible for managing the content strategy and design of the public-facing Clark website.

We create and maintain top-level University web pages on the WordPress content management system. We also work closely with web content managers in University offices and departments to ensure Clark’s website design and content strategy are implemented throughout the Clark website. We train web content managers to maintain pages using Clark’s approved website design on WordPress.

Office and Department Web Sites

How do you maintain your department or office website? Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Choosing a web content manager: Each academic department and administrative office at Clark should select one to two people responsible for maintaining website content via the WordPress platform.
To obtain permissions and access to an office or department website, a web content manager must receive training from the University Marketing and Communications Web Team. Contact Carol D’Onofrio, CMS administrator.
  • Creating and maintaining content: Web content managers are responsible for editing existing content and keeping it up-to-date. If you wish to create new content, including replacing photos or creating pages, please enter a web request.
  • Content strategy: All University office and department websites should reflect the University’s strategic marketing and communication goals. The Web Team reviews the Clark website to ensure content is updated and of high-quality; as part of our strategic website goals, we will contact you if your office website needs a content review or refresh. In addition, we welcome you to reach out to us for the same. Contact Laurel McLaughlin, director of web strategy.
