We are excited to welcome you to campus in the Fall.  As you prepare and get the dorm essentials you need, we wanted to make sure you’re electronically prepared as well.

Below are some things to prepare before arriving on campus.

This academic year will offer many new and different ways to learn and participate in campus life. And with these come technology needs. As you prepare to come (or come back) to Clark, it’s important to ensure that your primary computing device is up to the task.

Click here to learn more about our Technology Recommendations including links to free software such as Microsoft Office and Zoom.

The Clark data network is designed to support your academic and social technology needs.  Like all data networks, you share it with everyone else connected to it.  At home, it may be a parent or a sibling, but at Clark, you’ll share this resources with over 4000 of your new friends.  In order to meet the technical and legal requirements of maintaining our network, there are a couple specific things you’ll need to do

  • Have an up-to-date Operating System (Windows 10 or Mac OS 10.14 or higher,  with all updates applied)
  • Have an up-to-date Antivirus (Sophos is provided by Clark University)

You should complete these things before you arrive on campus to ensure you can get onto our Network  with no delays.
