Through intentional mentoring, identity-centered experiences, and spaces that build community, we advocate for and empower students to find their voice and provide support to actualize their potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-isea-currently-supports-students-who-identify-as\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">ISEA currently supports students who identify as:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"icon chev-right\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">Students of African American\/Black, Latine\/Latinx, Asian\/Desi-American, Pacific Islander, Native\/Indigenous, and Multiracial descent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"icon chev-right\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">Students in the LGBTQIA+ community, exploring their identity as it relates to gender and sexuality, and larger gender diverse population<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"icon chev-right\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">First-generation college students whose parents\/guardians did not complete a bachelor\u2019s degree (does not include siblings).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"icon chev-right\" style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">Student populations who may need support and new possible by alumna Sheila McCann \u201971 as a space for students of color, students in the LGBTQIA+ community, and first-generation college students to meet, gather, do homework, and develop individuals of all religious faiths and non-religious beliefs a place for peace, prayer, meditation, and\/or reflection throughout the day. The space is not intended for any organized programs or meetings.
