Why and How to Chart your own Path after Earning Tenure
- Earning tenure can be a rewarding experience after many years of hard work. Once the initial thrill fades, however, many recently tenured faculty members describe feeling confused about the next steps, unclear where they should invest their energy, and unsure how to respond to immediately escalating service requests.
- This workshop is designed to assist tenured professors with identifying the challenges of post-tenure life and to better understand the diverse pathways faculty can take after earning tenure.
