ASAN was created to serve as a national grassroots disability rights organization for the autistic community, advocating for systems change and ensuring that the voices of autistic people are heard in policy debates and the halls of power.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-info is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Find a Job, Internship, or Fellowship<\/summary>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/abilityjobs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ability Jobs<\/a>&nbsp;is the largest job site for people with disabilities where 100 percent of posted jobs are from employers specifically seeking to hire people with disabilities. The website also includes an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/abilityjobfair.org\/\">Ability Job Fair<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ehrweb01.aaas.org\/entrypoint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Entry Point! Program<\/a>&nbsp;identifies and recruits students with apparent and nonapparent disabilities, who are majoring in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, and some fields of business, for paid internship and co-op opportunities with leading companies, agencies, and universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gettinghired.com\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Getting Hired<\/a>&nbsp;is a job board and inclusive workforce blog for people with disabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.disabilityjobexchange.com\/%20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Disability Job Exchange<\/a>&nbsp;matches dedicated workers with employers looking to build a strong workforce. The website includes a calendar of disability job fairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/lifemap.aane.org\/interviewprep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AANE Interview Prep Program<\/a>&nbsp;provides interview preparation for neurodivergent individuals through a 10-session intensive job interview training program. The training includes networking, phone interviews, appropriate dress, nonverbal communication, and responding to questions. In addition, as part of the program, clients are paired with a LifeMAP coach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/info-details\/nextgen-careers-information\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission\u2019s NextGen Careers&nbsp;<\/a>NextGen Careers is a new initiative that helps young adults fast-track their career journey. NextGen-ers are young adults with disabilities, 18-30, who want to make a change in their life. NextGen-ers will learn to advocate for themselves, gain self-confidence, and become self-sufficient on their career path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NextGen Leaders Program connects high-potential students and recent graduates with mentors and recruiters at leading companies<a href=\"https:\/\/disabilityin.org\/learning-and-development\/nextgen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> NextGen Leaders Program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-info is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Employment with the U.S. Federal Government<\/summary>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opm.gov\/policy-data-oversight\/disability-employment\/getting-a-job\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Office of Personnel Management Resources for Job Seekers with Disabilities<\/a>&nbsp;provides an overview of the federal government\u2019s job boards, interview accommodations, and other resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wrp.gov\/wrp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Workforce Recruitment Program<\/a>&nbsp;connects federal and private-sector employers nationwide with college students and recent graduates with disabilities for summer or permanent jobs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usajobs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">USA Jobs<\/a>&nbsp;lists job opportunities in the federal government.
