Social Psychology Forum: A Cross-Cultural Examination of Majority Group Members’ Reactions to Impending Demographic Shifts

Many Western countries will be more racially/ethnically diverse by the middle of the 21st century. I will present findings from four studies conducted in the United States, Canada and Portugal that examined whether merely thinking about future demographic changes can have psychological consequences for majority group members.
