At the end of February, a cohort of undergraduate and graduate students and faculty from the Hiatt School of Psychology will present their research \u201cfocused on the cultural, developmental, and social justice dimensions of human behavior\u201d at the Eastern Psychological Association convention<\/a> in Boston, according to Professor Andrew Stewart, chair of the Department of Psychology<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe breadth and depth of research conducted in psychology at Clark is on full display,\u201d Stewart says, \u201cfrom understanding immigrant and ethnic minority mental health to cognitive developmental work on human memory, bilingualism, and understanding pressing social issues such as political radicalization, support for prison policies, and trauma among survivors of violence, as well as work being done on AI, ADHD, and academic identity. We are exceptionally proud of our department\u2019s representation at the conference, highlighting our focus on cultural, contextual, and critical approaches to human behavior and mental processes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
