The planned events offer students opportunities to learn about potential career paths, meet alumni working in related fields, and explore experiential opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in all majors and class years are invited to attend the week\u2019s events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-alumni-in-environmental-and-sustainability-roles\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clarku.joinhandshake.com\/edu\/events\/1771031\">Alumni in Environmental and Sustainability Roles<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Jan. 20, 6 to 7:30 p.m.; ASEC 202<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A panel of Clark alumni will share their experiences navigating Clark and beyond, drawing on a range of professions. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about the day-to-day of various careers, expand their networks, and speak with professionals currently in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group alignright boxout has-white-color has-deep-red-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3c41e05529ac88604d8080791ecf7390 is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mark-your-calendars\"><strong>Mark your calendars<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Spring Sophomore Summit <\/strong>(Saturday, Jan. 31, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Center for Computing, Media Arts, and Design) is a dynamic, half-day conference designed to help Clark sophomores explore their academic and career interests, connect with inspiring professionals, and set meaningful goals for their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Clark Experience Expo <\/strong>(Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Tilton Hall) will showcase career paths and experiential learning opportunities available to students at Clark and in the Worcester community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>\u201cJust in Time, All Majors Career Fair\u201d<\/strong> (Wednesday, March 11, noon to 3 p.m. in the Kneller Athletic Center) will feature more than 50 employers that are hiring for jobs and internships.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sustainability-climate-and-global-change-employer-pop-up\"><a href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/career_fairs\/429dfd5f-1e0e-4838-a7b6-042124b09de3\/student_preview\">Sustainability, Climate, and Global Change Employer Pop-up<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1 to 3 p.m.; Grace and Lurie conference rooms (Higgins University Center, first floor)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from sustainability-related companies and organizations will be on hand to answer questions about internship and job opportunities. Students can investigate career directions and build professional networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-student-internship-panel-sustainability-climate-and-global-change\"><a href=\"https:\/\/clarku.joinhandshake.com\/edu\/events\/1771033\">Student Internship Panel: Sustainability, Climate, and Global Change<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday, Jan. 22; noon to 1 p.m.; ASEC 111<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether for academic credit, supported through the CCC\u2019s Opportunity Funding, or otherwise,&nbsp;the value of an internship can be significant, setting students up for better employment and networking opportunities, and clarifying academic and professional goals.
