Clark earned the most awards among colleges in Central Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>Clark received a gold award for its 2010-2011 recruitment poster, which features a student posed upside-down urging prospective undergraduates to &ldquo;see things differently&rdquo; at Clark, where the motto is &ldquo;Challenge Convention. Change Our World.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Clark received silver awards for <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.clarku.edu\/alumnienewsletter\/2010_DEC.htm\">@Clark<\/a><\/em>, the University&rsquo;s alumni e-newsletter, and for &ldquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/issuu.com\/clarkuniversity\/docs\/pr_final_compressed_13kb?mode=embed&amp;viewMode=presentation&amp;layout=http%3A%2F%2Fskin.issuu.com%2Fv%2Flight%2Flayout.xml&amp;showFlipBtn=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The President&rsquo;s Report<\/a>, 2000-2010,&rdquo; a celebration and retrospective of the tenure of outgoing president John Bassett.<\/p>\n<p>The University also earned bronze awards for its admissions recruiting package, and for its campaign\/fundraising materials for The Chairman&rsquo;s Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re pleased that CASE has recognized our efforts to advance the mission and reputation of Clark University,&rdquo; said Paula David, vice president of marketing and communications at Clark. &ldquo;I want to congratulate the entire marketing and communications team for its hard work and creativity in spreading the word about Clark.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Clark will be honored with other gold award-winning institutions during the CASE District I annual conference in Boston in January.<\/p>\n<p>The CASE District I Communication Awards recognize outstanding achievement in higher education, independent school, and non-profit organization communications. Judges assess overall design, content and writing, and use of photography, graphics, and technology.<\/p>\n<p>CASE District I is the regional chapter of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.case.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Council for the Advancement and Support of Education<\/a> representing the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. Its member institutions and individuals are located in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Rhode Island; New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and Prince Edward Island.<\/p>\n<p>Since its founding in 1887, Clark University in Worcester, Mass., has a history of challenging convention.
