Clark University has always been named among the honorees for the award, who are chosen based on a series of selection factors including scope and innovativeness of service projects, percentage of student participation in service activities, incentives for service, and the extent to which the school offers academic service-learning courses.\r\n\r\nThe Community Engagement and Volunteering (CEV) Center<\/a> at Clark is the first stop for students, faculty and staff who engage in volunteer efforts that make a difference in the Worcester community. Hundreds of students volunteer each year with a vast array of organizations, programs and initiatives, including the Red Cross, All Kinds of Girls, Boys and Girls Club, Clark Brothers and Sisters (CUBS), MassPIRG, Peaceworks, Habitat for Humanity, and more.\r\n\r\nOverall, the Community Service Honor Roll recognized more than 600 schools for commitment to service and civic engagement.
