The Fiske Guide to Colleges, revised and updated for 2015, includes Clark University<\/a> as a “Best Buy” among the list of the “best and most interesting of the more than 2,200 four-year colleges in the United States.”<\/p>\r\nClark is one of just 41 institutions — 21 public and 20 private — to receive the Fiske “Best Buy” rating, which identifies “schools that offer outstanding academics with relatively modest prices.”\r\n\r\nThe guide — which covers a range of topics, including academic quality, student body, social life, financial aid, campus setting, housing, food, and extracurricular activities — states about Clark: “The foundation of a Clark education is the Program of Liberal Studies, which promotes the habits, skills, and perspectives essential to lifelong learning. … About 40 percent of students participate in undergraduate research, and first-year students have access to a variety of programs aimed at helping them transition into college life.”\r\n
