Clark University has been recognized as one of the “Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs” (MPPWSA) by the ACPA-College Student Educators International<\/a> and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.<\/a><\/p>\n

This national award<\/a> celebrates student affairs workplaces that are vibrant, diverse, supportive, and committed to staff work-life balance, professional development, and inclusive excellence.<\/p>\n

MPPWSA offers institutional leaders information that can be used to improve practices across their student affairs community, while also serving as a useful tool for employers, career services staff, and job seekers across the country.<\/p>\n

Clark was one of 13 universities presented with the award at the ACPA Convention in Houston, Texas, on March 12.  More information about the awardees can be found in the latest edition of Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.<\/p>\n

“It is an honor to be recognized for the work we’ve done in Clark’s Division of Student Affairs<\/a> to be more inclusive,” says Francy Magee, assistant provost and dean of students. “I’m proud to belong to a team of caring individuals who are always willing to think outside the box to propose, at times, unconventional solutions to challenges in order to support each other so that we can focus our energy on helping students and others in need in our community.”<\/p>\n
