This fall marks Clark's third annual Fresh Check Day, a national event dedicated to mental health promotion and suicide prevention. The activities, including games, interactive booths, and conversation prompts, encouraged students focus on their strengths and engage in open communication.<\/p>\n

Booths included Paint Your Art Out<\/em>, which emphasized the mental health benefits that go along with making art and being creative; Thrive<\/em>, which asked students to highlight their “superpowers,” or the things that make them great; and In It for Life<\/em>, where students could reflect on and share the things that give them hope. <\/p>\n

“While suicide prevention and mental health are heavy topics, Fresh Check Day aims to uplift students.”<\/p>\n

All of the booths at Fresh Check Day were run by a combination of Clark students and staff members. Each booth had an educational or interactive activity that focused on a specific area of mental wellness.<\/p>\n
