Marsh Institute Research Scientist William Lynn<\/strong> recently participated in the National Wolf Conversation, which brought together a variety of stakeholders with diverse perspectives on wolf conservation and recovery. Lynn, an ethicist, served as a wolf trustee, representing the interests of the animals themselves. In an interview published on Medium, Lynn noted that conflicts between groups often involve an absent \u201cother\u201d \u2014 someone who should be at the table but isn\u2019t. \u201cI know that analogy changed things for some people,\u201d Lynn said. \u201cThey suddenly saw the wolf-human relationship not as a question of how we use a resource but as a question of how we should treat another group of beings.\u201d Click here<\/a> to read the entire interview.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
