From research consultations, to digitizing materials, see what library staff have been up to&nbsp;below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instruction, Research and Access:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Led more than <a href=\"https:\/\/clarku.libwizard.com\/f\/Library_Instruction\">50 information literacy workshops<\/a> across campus, reaching approximately 1,000 students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducted <a href=\"https:\/\/clarku.libcal.com\/appointments\/\">100 research consultations<\/a> and answered more than 200 reference questions from students, faculty, staff and users not affiliated with Clark.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worked with several faculty to update their online presence on Scopus and ORCID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supported 194 courses with <a href=\"https:\/\/clarkuniversity.on.worldcat.org\/courseReserves\/landing\">Course Reserves<\/a> made available through the library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collections and Digital Projects:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Posted over 400 works to <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.clarku.edu\/?_gl=1*7re6c7*_gcl_aw*R0NMLjE3MjkxODAwODkuQ2p3S0NBanc2OEs0QmhBdUVpd0F5bHAza2c2d2ZRcWYyNzlyS2tDbWZ5dVB0SUhmVTYwVWxWZlhjVDJTQ3RfWkxLS2RiZEpTREhwWW54b0NMYTBRQXZEX0J3RQ..*_gcl_au*NDk3MTY2MTMyLjE3MzEzMzMwMTI.\">Digital Commons<\/a> and users from around the world have downloaded approximately 33,197 pieces of content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scanned and added all <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.clarku.edu\/commencement\/\">commencement programs<\/a> and images from the <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.clarku.edu\/colexpophotos\/\">Columbian Exposition (1893) collection<\/a>\u00a0to Digital Commons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Began the process of cataloging the collection of approximately 1,100 miniature books housed in the Archives and Special Collections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Archives and Special Collections:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Responded to 80 requests for information, some of which came from institutions outside the United States including the University of Paris, the University of Edinburgh, and the National University of Mar del Plata.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributed to a piece for the Worcester Telegram &amp; Gazette regarding The Clash playing at Clark in 1979. See the full article and view the images from the Archives and Special Collections <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worcestermag.com\/story\/entertainment\/music\/2024\/09\/25\/worcester-calling-the-clash-played-at-clark-nearly-causing-a-riot\/75293989007\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thanks to a generous donor, the Archive&#8217;s 20 volume set of Edward Curtis&#8217;s <em>The Indians of North America<\/em> is having conservation work done at the Northeast Document Conservation Center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>80 visitors stopped by the Archives during Friends and Family Weekend in October to view the &#8220;Vintage Clark&#8221; display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As the semester wraps up, the library will offer <a href=\"https:\/\/clarku.libcal.com\/\">extended hours<\/a> for Finals and will be closed for Winter Break from Saturday, December 21st to Wednesday, January 1st.
