April is National Poetry Month, which celebrates the contribution that countless poets and poems have made to our society, both today and in the past. The Goddard Library is celebrating National Poetry month with our own display of poetry books and anthologies, as well as our very own poetry contest! The winner gets presidential inaugural poet Amanda Gorman’s Call Us What We Carry, an acclaimed book of poetry which sat atop of the New York Times bestseller list.
