\"map<\/a>Students in the course were asked to choose a \u201cPeople on the Move\u201d – people who were forced to move due to conflict and are now present in at least two \u201cplaces of displacement\u201d outside of their country of origin. Throughout the course, the students were asked to study them from different perspectives and in the end create an op-ed or podcast and tell us: \u201cWhat events, structures, policies, and processes have shaped their forcible displacement and movement? What experiences and contributions do they bring to our understanding of the world around us and how is this reflected in the re-making of community and home for your People on the Move group?\u00a0 What is going on with these people now, where are they in the world? What do you think should be done to support them? And finally what have you learned from this project?<\/p>\n
