Some computers will use Software Center, some will use Company Portal, and some will have access to both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The software available in these applications will differ depending on the location or owner of the device, but common software includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zoom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NVIVO<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Endnote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MatLab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chrome and Firefox<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7Zip File Extractor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these, many Clark computers will also allow you to install specialist academic programs such as Anaconda Python, ArcGIS (Maps and Pro), RStudio and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20)\">Installing Software from Software Center or Company Portal<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When using a Clark-managed Windows computer while on campus or connected to VPN:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the search icon in your Windows taskbar or Start menu. (In Windows 10, if you don\u2019t see a search icon, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/hide-and-unhide-your-search-box-in-windows-11-6d8252b7-864f-c1b6-6a56-3eea0cda08dc#WindowsVersion=Windows_10\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here for more instructions<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type Software Center and click on the icon to open. If Software Center isn\u2019t found, type Company Portal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the application you\u2019ll see all of the software that you have the ability to install on the device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the software you wish to install. You will see information including the version.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click install to begin the installation.
