Depending on the needs of the community in any given year, Hughes Hall may be a mix of first-years and sophomores or exclusively first-years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hughes Hall houses approximately 148 students and several Resident Advisers. The building has a variety of room configurations and is located along the Shirley Street extension between Dana Hall and Bullock Hall.\u00a0 Hughes Hall is within a short walk of Dana Commons, Carlson Hall, the Kneller Athletic Complex, and the Higgins University Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that because of the nearly endless variety of room sizes and shapes in the building, we cannot provide specific or even general room dimensions.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hughes Hall facilities<\/summary>\n

Hughes Hall features shared common space, including a large social lounge on the basement level, laundry facilities, and a variety of kitchens, semi-private bathrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hughes Hall incorporates a variety of single, double, and triple rooms both in and outside of suites.  Rooms in suites share a private bathroom and common area.  Other rooms share semi-private bathrooms and shared kitchens.  Suite style housing in Hughes are all 4 bedroom suites with either four double rooms or two double rooms and two single rooms. All bedrooms in the suite are connected by a common area and a bathroom. Almost all rooms are unique in shape and size, but regardless of layout each room is equipped with beds and mattresses (extra long twins), desks, chairs, bookshelves, built in closets, and window drapes. Hughes is also equipped with wifi, ethernet access, and free laundry for all residential students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gender inclusive bathroom information<\/summary>\n

The majority of bathrooms in this Residence Hall are gender inclusive. Each bathroom is single stalled and lockable and contains a shower and toilet. The one exception is one gender inclusive bathroom in the basement that has two stalls and two showers.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
