In the event of a communicable disease outbreak, students who are not adequately immunized or are without laboratory evidence of immunity may be excluded from school. This policy refers to all students with medical or religious exemptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group boxout has-light-warm-gray-background-color has-background is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special note for international students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All students must comply with state laws regarding immunizations. If you haven\u2019t received all the mandatory immunizations, you should still submit your immunization documentation. You can receive the remaining required vaccines by making an appointment with health services, attending the campus wide immunization clinic, or visiting a local pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Clark University immunization form needs to be completed in English (under forms). TB testing of high risk students only should take place no sooner than 6 months prior to college entrance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meningococcal Vaccine (ACWY) required -&lt; 21 years of age.&nbsp; One dose -&gt; 16 years of age or signed waiver.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two doses of Varicella Vaccine*(Chicken pox).&nbsp; Doses given at least 4 weeks apart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommended<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hepatitis A<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pneumococcal vaccine if indicated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meningitis B Trumenba or Bexsero<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Influenza (annually)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* Laboratory proof of immunity is acceptable for MMR, hepatitis B, and varicella requirements. Reliable history of varicella documented by a health care provider or birth before 1980 in the United States is acceptable for the varicella requirement. Birth before 1957 in the U.S. is acceptable for the MMR requirement.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to get vaccinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Clark University Health Services<br>501 Park Ave<br>Worcester, Mass.<br>1-508-793-7467<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is best to complete your immunizations before coming to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are missing any&nbsp;<em>required<\/em>&nbsp;immunizations, or need titers drawn, all except varicella and flu vaccination are available at Health Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Insurance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your insurance will be billed for these costs;<strong>&nbsp;please know what your insurance will cover at Clark<\/strong>.
