Grants and Loans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Need-based financial aid comes in the form of grants and loans. To be considered for need-based aid, we must receive the FAFSA completed by the custodial parent and non-custodial parent when applicable by the financial aid application deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a U.S. high school student or a college student transferring to Clark University, you could be eligible for scholarships to help pay for the cost of your undergraduate education at Clark University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loan Options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We recommend that you borrow for the cost of the entire academic year, not one semester as a time. Loans should be secured no later than one week prior to the billing due date to allowing time for processing and avoid late fees, interest charges and cancelled registrations. Private student loan certification will begin in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federal Direct PLUS Loan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Federal Direct PLUS Loan is a Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students reserved for the parent of a dependent, undergraduate student. The lender is the federal government. The interest rate and origination fee is reset each July 1 for the upcoming academic year. During the 2023-2024 academic year, 229 Federal Direct PLUS Loans were borrowed with an average loan of $17,926.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
