Wade until the present day. \\u201cAbortion and American Life\\u201d will capture and make publicly available women\\u2019s abortion experience stories. Our project will document women\\u2019s experiences within the complex 50 + year landscape of ever-changing politics, cultural factors, societal norms, and legal applications. We will create an open-access archive of individual oral histories. We expect to complete the project to a public-facing stage by July 2028. We will continue to make future updates past this time as opportunities arise and are relevant. We will design a future interactive, thematic means of exploring these histories based on the themes and topics that emerge within them.
