My major interest is: How do we educate ourselves toward planetary well-being? \u00a0How can educators create learning spaces that cultivate ways of *being with* the world centered on an interconnectedness among Self, Others, and Nature? I am collaborating with Clark University undergraduates to explore this question, using a university course as an inquiry space. <\/span><\/p>\n

My earlier research involved co-investigating new approaches to teaching and learning with students, teachers, and school communities in North America, Europe, Colombia, and Singapore. \u00a0My focus was on developing both technological and social infrastructures to create classroom knowledge building communities creating knowledge regarding personal, pedagogical, and systemic transformation. <\/span><\/p>\n

As for my own academic trajectory, I received a B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Education from UC Berkeley.
