In the first decades of the twentieth-century Vienna<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was a locus for cultural and intellectual innovation, as well as for radical politics of left and right. This symposium brings together a group of leading interdisciplinary scholars to explore the interactions of art, music, and cultural politics in the decades preceding the rise of National Socialism and the<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Anschluss<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of Austria in March 1938.
