Dr. Rivera\u2019s research and extension program focuses on the biology and ecology of insects in tree fruit agroecosystems including pesticide science, the development of sustainable insect management techniques using biological control and new technologies, and the biology of insect vectors of plant pathogens. Her extension program is centered on communicating information to enhance the profitability and resilience of New York state apple production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
