Latine/Latinx Heritage Month, also known as Hispanic Heritage Month, is held from September 15 to October 15 of each year and is a national observance that honors the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people.

Latine/Latinx Heritage Month, observed each year from September 15 to October 15, is a national observance that celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people. The observance begins in mid-September as a nod to the anniversaries of national independence for a number of Latin American countries, such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile. It is a time for community, celebration, and recognition among our Latine community members. Their achievements, contributions, and efforts offer inspiration to others in honoring their heritage, cultures, and experiences.
