Vandana Singh is a writer of speculative fiction with three short story collections to her credit, most recently “Ambiguity Machines and Other Stories” (2018), a Philip K. Dick Award finalist, and a chapbook of essays and fiction,Utopias of the Third Kind” (2022).

Singh is a professor of physics at Framingham State University, where her current academic work is on a transdisciplinary reconceptualization of climate change at the intersection of science and society. She was a 2021 Climate Imagination Fellow at Arizona State’s Center for Science and the Imagination. Her academic book on climate pedagogy, “Teaching Climate Change: Science, Stories, Justice,” will be out in 2024.
