DESCRIPTION:Feminist theorist and writer Cynthia Enloe is internationally renowned for her work on gender and militarism and for her contributions to the field of feminist international relations. In 2017\, she was selected to be named on the Gender Justice Legacy Wall\, installed in the International Crimes Court\, The Hague. At Clark University\, Professor Enloe served as director of the Women’s Studies Program and as chair of the Political Science Department\, and received the Outstanding Teacher Award three times. \n\n\n\nHer talk will be followed by a reception to celebrate her distinguished career. \n\n\n\nFor virtual attendance\, join us via Zoom. \n\n\n\nThis event is sponsored by the Women’s and Gender Studies program and the Center for Gender\, Race and Area Studies.  It is co-sponsored by the departments of Political Science and Sustainability and Social Justice.
