(Rain location: Tilton Hall\, Higgins University Center) \nLatine/Latinx Heritage Month\, also known as Hispanic Heritage Month\, is held from September 15 to October 15 of each year and is a national observance that honors the histories\, cultures\, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people.  \nLatine/Latinx Heritage Month\, observed each year from September 15 to October 15\, is a national observance that celebrates the histories\, cultures\, and contributions of Latine/Latinx people. The observance begins in mid-September as a nod to the anniversaries of national independence for a number of Latin American countries\, such as Costa Rica\, El Salvador\, Guatemala\, Honduras\, Nicaragua\, Mexico\, and Chile. It is a time for community\, celebration\, and recognition among our Latine community members. Their achievements\, contributions\, and efforts offer inspiration to others in honoring their heritage\, cultures\, and experiences.
