The Innovation in Action Speaker Series presents Kenn Turner, the president and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center.
Turner’s decades-long career includes nearly 10 years in public service. At the Massachusetts Port Authority, he served as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion and provided executive leadership on a number of the authority’s diversity initiatives, among which are increasing business and supplier diversity and workforce diversity. Turner joined Massport from the Department of Veterans’ Services, where he served as Deputy Secretary for Administration and Finance for almost three years. Prior to entering state service, he served for five years as Senior Vice President for AOL Time Warner’s Audience Division, which was preceded by five years as Senior Director of Trade Marketing for Hasbro, Inc.
The Innovation in Action Speaker Series is presented by the Provost’s office, the Small Business Development Center at Clark University, and the School of Professional Studies.
