Interested in learning more about health professions? Local health professionals, including Clark University alumni, are coming to campus to talk with you about their careers in the health field! If you are curious about the difference between an MD and DO, what the nursing field entails, or how a physician’s assistant plays a role in patient care, this session is for you.
There will be a 45 minute panel, moderated by Dr. Denis Larochelle, discussing the health care field, followed by time for student questions. You will have a chance to network with these health care professionals at a reception following the panel discussion.
This is a chance for students to learn more about the day to day of these careers, to build a network of connections and to speak with professionals who are currently in the field. Some of our guest panelists include; A Physician Assistant, Assumption A Nurse, UMASS Memorial Healthcare An MD and Director, UMASS Memorial Healthcare, Children’s Medical Center A DO, St. Vincent’s Hospital And, more to come!
