There is not a set format for these documents, but all of them must contain the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Company information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Substance identity and hazardous ingredients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical and chemical characteristics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire and explosion hazard data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health hazard data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reactivity data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spill or leak clean-up procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special protection information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>special precautions for safe handling and use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The law requires that these documents must be in English and available to all employees and students working with or near the substance. They must be made available to their workers. Please <a href=\"https:\/\/cems.unh.edu\/clarku\/CEMS\/Dashboard\">upload a copy to the CEMS site<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SDS can be obtained from the chemical supplier or manufacturer. An SDS must either accompany or precede the shipment.
