Clark University&#8217;s laboratories do not handle any infectious agents, and all the biohazards produced can be treated with either a 10% bleach solution or by autoclaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bleaching\">Bleaching<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideal for the clean up of a biological spill. Please note that bleached materials cannot be autoclaved. Dispose of bleached waste by placing it in the regular trash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Autoclaving<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Any solid, semisolids and contaminated materials should be placed inside a hazardous waste bag.
