The National Weather Service continues to predict severe winter weather with heavy snowfall and high winds beginning this afternoon into tomorrow. In response, the Governor of Massachusetts has declared a state of emergency so that state personnel can effectively manage the situation. This, in turn, has affected the guidance to campus.\u00a0Please take note of the following important updates regarding operations for tomorrow (Monday).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Only essential employees in critical student-supporting roles should travel to campus. All other employees should work remotely. If you have questions about your role and responsibility, please speak with your supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a residential institution, the University will not close. However, you should anticipate that most offices and non-essential services will not be staffed in person. Critical student services, including dining, will continue but with modified schedules. Please see schedule updates below. We will share further updates as we have them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No in-person classes will be held.
