This valuable credential will also enable you to pursue a career path in higher education, teaching, or research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Master of Fine Arts in&nbsp;Interactive&nbsp;Media requires 15 one-unit courses. MFA course work includes self-directed project development, research, and thesis writing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the second year of the MFA, students will act as creative director and team lead for an undergraduate Game Studio team. The graduate student, along with this team, will work to complete an original work of&nbsp;interactive media&nbsp;to be exhibited at the end of the year along with the MFA student\u2019s thesis defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-group boxout has-light-warm-gray-background-color has-background is-content-justification-left is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-12dd3699 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Senior Year Requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will take IMED Graduate Studio I and IMED Graduate Studio II in place of two Game Studio core requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students may use their IMED Grad Elective or IMED Interactive Media as their Track GAME Elective requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students can create a Design Your Own Track and include IMED Interactive Media as an approved Track course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will use their open courses to cover the following graduate courses from the first year of graduate study in this program: two graduate electives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Please Note:&nbsp;The MFA is an advanced terminal degree and therefore not part of Clark University\u2019s 4+1 program.
