Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, and Nursing at MCPHS

Clark University and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) now offer assured admission for qualified Clark graduates to MCPHS programs leading to the following degrees:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)
• Master of Physician Assistant Studies (P.A.)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

To be eligible, Clark students must successfully complete the Bachelor of Arts at Clark in biology or a related field and obtain at least a minimum grade point average (GPA): 3.2 for B.S.N. and 3.4 for the P.A. and Pharm.D. programs, both overall and for all prerequisite courses.

Each year, assured admission will be offered to Clark graduates who meet the eligibility criteria and who are deemed the most highly qualified among the Clark applicants by MCPHS; up to five for the Pharm.D. (pending a satisfactory interview), three for the B.S.N., and one for the P.A. Additional qualified Clark students will be treated as all other applicants.

Prerequisite Clark courses must be completed with the specified GPA, without any grades below a C, with no repeated courses, and with no Pass/No Record grade options. Up to two transfer courses may be used to meet prerequisite requirements.

Students must notify the MCPHS Admissions Office of their intent to apply to this articulation program by Feb. 1 of their senior year. Completed applications must be received by MCPHS by Oct. 1 for the B.S.N. (January matriculation), or by dates specified on the MCPHS web site or on web sites of centralized application services: CASPA for P.A. and PharmCAS for Pharm.D.
