Dr. Jessica Goodheart is the Assistant Curator of Malacology and Assistant Professor at the Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History.
The Goodheart Lab studies biodiversity and evolution in marine invertebrates, such as sea slugs. Our lab primarily studies heterobranch gastropods like nudibranchs, a group of shell-less gastropods, and their ability to steal stinging organelles from their cnidarian prey (like jellyfish anemones). We also prioritize making the scientific process, and outputs of that process, more equitable and accessible.
