Allan Carrillo Baltodano, PhD candidate in the Meyer lab, attended the January, 2018 meeting in San Francisco of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology. Not only did he get to spend time connecting with colleagues while visiting a great city, he also won professional honors for his work in the form of two Best Student Presentation Awards: one from the SICB Division of Evolutionary and Developmental Biology and another from the American Microscopical Society.
