The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) obtains grants and gifts from foundations, corporations, and nongovernmental organizations to support student research, programs, and other institutional priorities and funding needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requests to external funders for financial support must be submitted through the CFR Office.<\/strong> Please contact us<\/a>  before<\/em> reaching out to funders or submitting proposals. The earlier you contact us, the better we can help you. Please note that we must have your final draft (including budget and other components) at least 10 business days ahead of the proposal deadline or we cannot guarantee timely submission of your proposal. Please plan accordingly to meet the internal deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a number of funding opportunities for graduate students that support research and other activities. The following are examples of opportunities; please coordinate submission with the CFR office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Society of Women Geographers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Awards fellowships to women studying for advanced degrees in geography or its allied fields.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Provides fellowships in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture, or other formal professional training).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Psychological Foundation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
