Purpose of the Student Code of Conduct<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ability and freedom to teach, learn, and grow depend on having safe, respectful and productive opportunities and conditions in classrooms, residence halls, other campus areas and the broader academic community. Clark University students are expected to behave in ways that demonstrate their care, respect and responsibility for the personal dignity, rights and freedoms of all community members. They should also respect University property and the property of others. The University has established policies, procedures and expectations for student behavior to safeguard these conditions and maintain a supportive learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adherence to the provisions of the Student Code of Conduct, hereinafter referred to as the \u201cCode,\u201d along with other University policies and laws outside the University, will ensure an environment of academic curiosity, personal growth, and accountability for all members of the Clark community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Discipline and Eligibility for a University Degree<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    To be eligible to receive a degree from Clark University, in addition to meeting all academic requirements, a student\u2019s disciplinary record must be in good standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Clark may place a hold on conferral of the degree, along with other student records, if any of the following exist on a student’s disciplinary records:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
