When he started The Umpire Channel on YouTube at the age of 16, Noah Katz couldn\u2019t foresee that it would one day attract hundreds of thousands of follows and millions of views to the platform. He\u2019s since taken his video camera into ballparks throughout the country to interview umpires and players at every level \u2014 from youth leagues to Major League Baseball \u2014 in celebration of all things related to umpiring<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The marketing major will continue with his sports endeavors, working full time on growing the Umpire Channel and umpiring games for the Savannah Bananas, a popular Harlem Globetrotters-like baseball team \u2014 including in front of 100,000 fans at the University of Tennessee’s football stadium. To continue expanding and refining the Umpire Channel, Katz will be attending MLB\u2019s All-Star Weekend and is now collaborating with other professional sports leagues like the NHL and the NBA. The Clark senior has clearly made the right call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
