Major:<\/strong> Physics<\/a> (Math minor<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clark Days:<\/strong> A native of Carmel, New York, Ronnie found his path as a physic major with an eye toward pursuing a master\u2019s degree at Columbia. \u201cI wasn\u2019t sure if I was Columbia material, but my mother said if I didn\u2019t take the chance now, I\u2019d regret it one day,\u201d Ronnie says. During his time at Clark, he worked closely with Professor Chuck Agosta on renewable energy projects and participated in a number of Clark clubs and organizations, including the Men of Color Alliance, Black Student Union, and the Caribbean African Student Association. He also played on the men\u2019s basketball team his first year and was a team manager as a sophomore before stepping away to focus on his studies. \u201cThat\u2019s what I came to Clark to do,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post-Commencement Plans:<\/strong> Ronnie was accepted into Columbia University\u2019s engineering program as part of the 3-2 program that Clark operates in conjunction with Columbia. He plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection:<\/strong> \u201cClark made me who I am; it allowed me to grow up. I wouldn\u2019t have developed the way I have if I\u2019d gone to a larger school.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
