\"Hannah<\/p>\n

Major:<\/strong> History<\/a>, minors in theater<\/a> and women\u2019s and gender studies<\/a><\/p>\n

Clark Days:<\/strong> Throughout college, Hannah has been working in museums, learning the ins and outs of displaying history for the public. Since graduating from high school, she\u2019s worked at Louisa May Alcott\u2019s Orchard House<\/a> in Concord \u2014 a considerable, but worthwhile, commute from her hometown of Holden, Massachusetts. This year, Hannah helped research and install an exhibit currently on display at Old Sturbridge Village<\/a> in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The experience was part of Clark\u2019s Public History course; students chose historic chairs from the museum\u2019s collection to study. Hannah selected a shoemaker\u2019s bench, vastly different from the domestic items she\u2019s handled at the Orchard House.<\/p>\n

Post-Commencement Plans:<\/strong> Hannah will be a curatorial intern at Old Sturbridge Village this summer, documenting artifacts and working in the research library. In the fall, she will return to Clark to complete a master\u2019s in history.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/strong> \u201cI really love finding people in history, exploring their stories, and then telling those stories in impactful ways so people in the present can find inspiration from them or learn from them.\u201d<\/p>\n
